Our Mission:

Drew’s Team Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting families and individuals affected by cystic fibrosis. The majority of our funds will be used to provide financial support to children and their parents to properly maintain adequate care that is required to pay for doctors, hospital bills, medical supplies, therapy, travel, lodging and pharmaceutical expenses to improve the quality of life for those with cystic fibrosis.

Our Vision:

Board of Directors – People with the interest and capability to forward the Drew’s Team mission through open communication, commitment to training, strategic planning, and careful execution

Staff – People who care, providing extraordinary customer service to the CF community; creating a hopeful, optimistic life for CF patients and their families; maintaining a professional image while focusing on improving results.

Volunteers – People who have a vested interest in making sure that all of Drew’s Team members and prospective members understand the generosity drive, and mission of Drew’s Team, Inc.

Fundraising – Nationally know fundraisers that create a feeling of community to all participants

Grant Programs – Providing a means for all CF patients in the US to receive the proper care and medical assistance needed to live healthy, happy, productive lives

Making a Difference – Raising public awareness of cystic fibrosis and insure the proper care of all CF patients in the US and contributing to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to assist in the fight for a cure.

History:

Drew’s Team, Inc. was inspired by the birth of Andrew Thomas Major on April 27, 2005 who was born with Cystic Fibrosis.  A group of family and friends banded together to form the corporation and the Articles of Agreement were submitted to the state of New Hampshire   in the fall of 2005.  Approval for the filing was received on November 14, 2005 and the Board of Directors was appointed.

The first Board meeting was held on February 26, 2006 at which By-Laws were approved, Board Member terms established and fundraising activities kicked off.

Tax exemption status was submitted to the IRS on January 30, 2006 and approval under section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code was received on December 21, 2006.
